Do you know what I hate?
February 20, 2008 at 5:53 pm | In life | 4 CommentsTags: 3, appointment, Doctors, hate, health history, mental health, paperwork, privacy policy, registration, release form, three kids
I hate filling out paperwork. Precisely paperwork for the doctors office. New patient paperwork. You’ve got the two page registration form, the four page health history form, the release of information form and the dreaded privacy policy.
Let’s break it down a little shall we?(not the dancing kind quite yet!):
Registration:
Health History:
Mental Health:
Is stress a major problem for you? Yes, I have 3 kids.
Do you feel depressed? Yes, I have 3 kids.
Do you panic when stressed? No…should I be stressed now?
Do you have problems with eating or your appetite? Take a look at my weight and you tell me!
Do you cry frequently? Ummm, I have 3 kids?
Have you ever attempted suicide? No, but I do have 3 kids.
Have you ever thought about seriously hurting yourself? Yes, and I’ve thought about seriously busting all 3 of my kids butts too!
Do you have trouble sleeping? Only when I’m really really drunk and drugged out because I’m trying to kill myself and get myself away from the stress of having THREE KIDS!
Have you ever been to a counselor? I just talk to myself about my problems. Isn’t that normal?
Now I swear that I’m not making light of the mental health questions because I know that there are plenty of people out there that need the help, I just get so tired of answering the same crap for every different kind of doctor out there. Why don’t we just have a universal database for all things medical, I mean shit. Save some paper or hands or something.
Release of Information:
Privacy Policy:
All done. Now go ahead and have a seat……someone will call you back in 2 hours shortly.
I haven’t been to the doctor in over a year, I think it’s time, my appointment isn’t till March 13th, but I went online and printed off all the damn paperwork like the lady said I could do in order to get the appointment time I wanted, so all hail the data entry people who get to read about our lives on paper. I’m sure I’d start a riot if I actually printed what I typed above…. maybe I need to do a reprint!
Is That…..Sunshine?

These last few days it’s been so nice seeing the sun and letting the kids run around out side now and again. It gives me hope that winter really will end some day. It’s still colder than hell outside though, but having the blinds open and not seeing rain pouring out of the sky is kind of nice.
I’m looking forward to the warmer days when I can shove the kids out the door and have a little peace and damn quiet!
Claude mentioned just yesterday that we should go to Breakwater Seafood during the summer so we could sit outside and eat and enjoy the river. It sounds so relaxing…I wish it was already here.
I’m trying to think of some good ideas for my 365 picture today…but I have no inspiration. I really don’t have anything to say today and I know I’m terribly boring. Maybe I should think of something to cook for dinner tonight…maybe I’ll bake some cookies or something. I don’t know, I just need to do SOMETHING! I’m going nuts! Oh I know…laundry…
Awwwwww, Thanks Baby! I Love You!

I Had It, Then Lost It
February 8, 2008 at 3:08 pm | In life | 8 CommentsTodays post that is…I didn’t have it down, but I had it in my head. Between the 4 loads of laundry, sweeping up chocolate muffin crumbs and unloading/loading the dishwasher, it got lost.
You know, I might as well declare this a damn “Mommy Blog” since all I ever do it bitch about my duties as a stay at home mom of 3. My days are full of unkempt rooms, sweeping, mopping, “no’s” and tantrums. It’s no wonder I’m pissed off most days by the time Claude gets home. Today I’m babysitting my nephew Noah, who spilled milk AGAIN this morning. I tell ya, what is it with that kid…it’s like the 3rd or 4th time!
After dropping Shea off I took all the kids to Safeway to have my typical marvelous shopping experience, complete with isle running and jumping into the meat cases….(well not COMPLETELY in, but close enough!) I threatened to give them swats in public but they didn’t really care and I don’t much like to give someone elses’ kid a swat even if I know it’s ok. I was really patient until we were about to leave and while checking out Noah was giving the “bagger” some lip. I didn’t hear what he was saying, but she is handicapped in some capacity and I hope to hell and back that he wasn’t insulting her or something, I apologized for his attitude and told him a thing or two on the way out the door. He might have just been bitching because she told him to get off the cart, like I said, I don’t know.
I was about to head home when Grannie called me and reminded me to come to her house to pick up a check. I told her I’d be there in about 10 minutes, I was heading to get coffee. Four cars at the coffee stand and 10 minutes later I got my coffee and 2 muffins. Costco style muffins, the huge mamajammas that are the chronic! $1 each, BUT the Barista stamped my card 3 times, for the coffee and muffins. What a deal! Considering that the coffee is close to $5 (used my freebie today) and the muffins are only $1…I’ll be buying more muffins to get more free coffee! If you don’t follow, it’s understandable, I’m kind of rambling here. Anyhow, if any of you locals go to Koffee Kat, get muffins dammit!
So I was about a minute from Grannies when she called me to ask where I was, she wanted me to go to the newspaper and pick up some money, but too bad I was too close, so after we got the check, I sent Kalayah into the newspaper to pick up the money from my aunt for the winner of the Super Bowl board. $125 baby, maybe I’ll accidentally misplace it! muahaha, nah, I’m only kidding. -Or AM I!?- =]
Homeward bound, groceries put away, muffins had, coffee reheated, bagel and mixed berry cream cheese scarfed, MySpace and Flickr “fixes”, then it was time to drop Kalayah off at school. Then Noah. Now it’s almost time to go pick them up! Where has my day gone!
Tomorrow we have a birthday party to go to! I’m excited to get out of this damn house and do something other than chauffeur kids and get coffee, plus there is pizza involved, who wouldn’t be excited!
Here’s some candy porn for ya…I shot these yesterday! Mmmmmmmmmmm!
It’s not faith if you’re using your eyes

I’m not having the best day today…nothing particular has messed it up, bit it’s just an off day.
1. I hate waiting. After dropping Shea off at school, I went and got some coffee and had an hour to kill before heading to my doctors appointment, so we went to Dollar Tree, then my appointment. My leg is doing well according to Dr. Hansen so that’s good.
2. More waiting. Another hour. Went to Wal-Mart in search of a zippered pouch thing to put in my purse to hold all my miscellaneous shit that has just been sitting in the bottom making it impossible to find what I want, when I want it. I ended up finding something but not exactly what I wanted, plus a few more things.
3. 20 minutes until I could drop Kalayah off at school. I went through McDonalds and got lunch then sat in the parking lot while they ate and attempted to fix up my purse so I didn’t have a freak out every time I searched for my keys, lip gloss or a pen. Finally it was time to go.
4. Headache. I sent Kalayah in by herself and called the teacher to make sure she made it down the stairs, then Austin and I drove home. I ate my lunch then busted open my Old Navy order. I ordered 3 t-shirts, a purple blouse, 2 pairs of dress pants, a pair of lounge pants and a pair of shoes. In the end I decided to keep the black pants and the lounge pants. I liked the t-shirts but they will end up being too short after they get washed, plus they are a little on the see-through side….*sigh* and I was really excited about them too. The purple shirt is just fugly, plus I thought there was more to it than there was. So basically I’m returing over $100 worth and I’m not too happy about it, but what else can I do.
5. I got to school almost 10 minutes late to pick Kalayah up. Luckily there were parents arriving at the same time so I didn’t feel AS bad, but still, kick that shit into gear Tirzah, you’re NEVER late! Picked Shea up and headed home.
6. Impatience. “Will you JUST sound it out!” Helping Shea with reading, or rather getting pissed because she’s not trying to read. She just looks and says a word that has the same letters. Wasn’t = wouldn’t, wanted. NO NO NO NO NO! Ahhhh frustration. I just might need my parental rights taken away.
7. Headache….still. Kalayah and Austin fighting on the couch over who gets to sit on what end of the couch. Kalayah pitcing a fit on the floor, Shea attacking her, Austin kicking her in the head. Me screaming to knock their crap off before I beat their asses.
8. GO. UPSTAIRS. NOW. Now all I hear is constant banging, rough housing and general banter. I swear if they have a huge mess up there, I’m leaving the house, possibly for good.
9. Advil.
