I Can Breathe…

HERE WE ARE!!!
Wow, what a day it’s been, I can honestly this is one of the biggest things I’ve done lately.
I went to the wrong apartment first…..so I had to call him and find out which apartment to go to!
He saw Austin first and said “Hi Austin! Come on it!” So he did, and I followed and we hugged and said our “Hi! How are you?” and then we both gasped a sigh of relief.
We looked at some pictures from when he was growing up and of my uncles and grandma and I showed him the book and he told me how much I look like my mom.
He apologized for not contacting me over the years but he’s so thankful and happy that I finally made the decision to contact him.
Oh…and he has blue eyes…which I knew, but you didn’t. =]
It was an excellent day and I’m so happy you guys, I can’t even describe the feeling!

I know what you mean about names not suiting people, but in this instance I don’t feel “it” either way….so I can’t say. I do understand what you mean though!

Well I’ll either invite him over here or maybe we’ll go to lunch or something, I’m not too sure. I’m just excited right now and can’t really get past the initial shock of actually MEETING him! lol

I wish. I can’t. All I know is that she may or may not still live in Fredicksburg, VA and that her name is Margaret McDaniels. I have found NOTHING on her. And I AM the google queen. I’ve joined every adoption reunion board in the world. Nothing. I finally decided she’s either dead or has no interest in me. That happens. It’s not always a happy ending, ya know?
