Now THAT my friends is lazy.  It’s 82° and I’m thinking that’s just too damn hot to be cooking in the house.  Oh well, at least we ate something right?!

Whatever, I’m babbling like an idiot again…

I signed Shea up for camp this year, it’s a 3 day, 2 night camp and I think she’ll have a lot of fun.  I’m hoping that she won’t have any issues being away from us for a couple of nights and that we don’t end up getting called to pick her up in the middle of the night cuz she’s flippin’ her lid.  That’d just suck, especially since we plan on being in Seattle! LMAO!

I’ve been sucking beyond belief on the blog front…I’m behind with a few of you, I hope you aren’t getting pissed at me.  As the days get nicer, I tend to do more and more stuff around here and venture outside more often.

I got my order from Old Navy yesterday, between the UPS man and the FedEx guy I could have myself quite the threesome.  ROFLMAO!  Ok, that really amused me… Anyhow…I ordered a swimsuit *gasp!* and it was actually too big.  I know right!  I couldn’t beleive it either.  I figured that if I ordered a bigger size that maybe my damn boobs would fit in.  I think it would have taken 4 of my boobs to fill it out, it was that bad.  Conveinently the UPS guy showed up today to deliver something for Heather (who lives in Canada and is coming to see me on the 4th!) so I was able to give him my return!  Yay for me having a brain!

It’s either the heat or the Mike’s Hard Lemonade or both, but I’m getting a headache.  And I’m tired.  I want a nap.  6:30 on a Friday night and I’m bitchin’ about a damn nap…I must be getting old.

Idiot.

2am, car alarms, yelling, dog barking…

Some asshat stole a car, was chased down by the cops, ran into our neighbors car, and was about to be eaten by the police dog if he made a move.  The other dude that was in the car took off…who knows if they ever found him.

It turns out that dude just got out of Juvi a week ago and decided that stealing a car would be a fantastic idea.  Fucking idiot.  I was kinda hoping that someone was gonna get shot.  That’d be exciting! LOL!  I’m so rude.  I would have actually been scared shitless if I heard/saw someone get shot.

Of course after all that excitement we had a hard time falling asleep.

I was so tired this morning too, I didn’t get up till 10…and that was only because Shea came in and woke me up! lol

Oblivious.

I started the day off all sorts of wrong this morning.

The phone rang at 7:15 and it was my brother-in-law Sam letting me know that Debbie was trying to drop Noah off but we didn’t answer the door.  Thankfully Claude was still home because I wasn’t dressed and I was still 90% asleep.

I fired off a premature email, resulting in complete and utter chaos.  I can be so stupid sometimes.

The preschool called to discuss some things with me about next year and Kalayah ran in the house screaming “Shea called me fat!!!” at the top of her lungs.  Then my cell rang, then I was getting another call on the home phone all in the span of 30 seconds.  Disastrous.

We’ve had the weirdest damn weather around here lately…I sent Shea to school with a sweatshirt and a coat for field day since the weather is so damn unpredictable…and she came home in a t-shirt bitching about being too hot.  The sun is out and it’s beautiful!!!  Tomorrow she gets to go to the beach for a field trip, she’s excited and I’m debating on what to send with her for lunch.  I think I need to go to Wal-Mart.  Maybe I’ll do that after Noah goes home.  There’s no since in wrangling 4 kids around the store when I can wait awhile.  Hell, I might even wait until Claude gets home and just take Shea with me.  That sounds like the best plan, we’ll go with that one.

Yesterday I fought with the router and modem enough to make someone want to hang themselves.  The day before I lost count after 8 router resets.  What a bunch of bullshit.  I ended up going to Comcast and exchanging my modem thinking that maybe that would solve the problem.  I’m going to get a new router here in the next few days too.

My bio Dad is coming over the dinner Saturday, I’m pretty excited about it!  I hope the kids aren’t completely annoying and that other company doesn’t decide to show up at the same time.

Enough with my random self…I’m gonna go find something to smile about now!

Chocolate Crunch Brownies

Chocolate Crunch Brownies

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar

4 eggs

6 T baking cocoa
1 cup flour
2 t vanilla
1/2 t salt

Pour into a greased 13×9 pan
350 degrees for 25 minutes

COOL

Spread 1 jar of marshmallow cream over cooled brownies.

In a small pan, melt:
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup creamy peanut butter
stir in 3 cups of rice krispies

Spread over marshmallow layer and chill before cutting.

Store in refrigerator.

If you are all about shortcuts and don’t want to make the brownie part, just use a boxed recipe (like I did, but make SURE it’s a 13×9 recipe!) and make the topping.

They are fantastic!!!!

My cousin Kyla sent me this message tonight….I felt I needed to share:

“Hey,

so something happened to me the other day that if it would have happened to you, you probably would have written a blog about.

monday morning i went to get in my car at 6am for work and it was locked up as usual, but… it had been broken into over night. they were kind enough to lock up when they were done. and you know what they stole? an old wallet, no suprise, and my ash tray. the entire ashtray! there wasnt even that much money in there, about 5 dollars. idiots. so they didnt break anything so that was nice, but now i have a vacant hole in my console where the ashtray had lived for the last 15 years. i will probably have to cover it with duct tape and card board and be one of those people with duct tape “fixing” things in their car.

well thats all the news i have, i just though you would get a kick out of it.

ill talk to you later.”

Isn’t that just awesome!  I told her that I had to blog it. lol

Here’s is Kyla and her fiance Jonathan…she may or may not kill me for this!

Friday we decided to start cleaning since we were having people over for a bbq Saturday. Claude went outside and mowed the yard, I cleaned up the living room and sent the kids up to bed. I left the laundry in my room since I didn’t want the typical heap sitting in front of the back door when company was around.

Saturday morning after I got out of the shower I heard music playing, I looked out the playroom window and Claude was outside raking the grass and had setup the radio (that was in the garage since we bought this new entertainment center that holds nothing more than the T.V. itself, the DVD player, cable box and X-Box). I heard Shea singing along to Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin which gave me a good laugh.

I came downstairs and started cleaning again. Claude swept, emptied the dishwasher and then went up to take a nap since he wasn’t feeling well. My mom came and picked the kids up, all three of them since Grannie wasn’t feeling well enough to watch Austin. I dusted, cleaned the windows, mopped the kitchen floor and then Claude got up so we could go to the store.

Brenda, Robin and Dean, Brian and Brianne, and their 4 friends all had a great time at the bbq. The guys cooked the burgers and hot dogs, Robin made and awesome pasta salad and brought some chips. We drank a few beers, had some good laughs and of course Robin suggested the group pic (which only consisted of us 4 “regulars”):

Group pic!

Then she took a picture of me taking a picture of her:

Ima Dork

While we were eating the stupid smoke detectors went off. I figured it was because of the grill but all the upstairs windows were shut so I ended up yanking a couple batteries out of the alarms to get them to shut up. We were gone no more than 30 minutes when we both had calls on our cell phones, 1 from an out of town number and the other from my parents number. I didn’t hear mine since the first band was warming up but Claude came over to me and said something about having to go home because the fire department was trying to get into our house. GREAT.

He had less than an hour before their band was gonna play so he hauled ass home, let the fire department in, they pulled down all the smoke detectors and put up a temporary. Stupid things.

The show was awesome!!! HEROES for GHOSTS kicked some serious ass. Despite the mic being a bitch a couple of times their set rocked! Here’s a video that Brian and/or Brianne made (Brian is the guitarist, Brianne is his wife), since it won’t let me embed it, go check it out here!!!

Here are a couple pics from our friends band I BÖRJAN:

Sunday “morning”, approx. 12:15 I heard Claude getting in the bath. I just KNEW that my parents would show up while he was in there, leaving me to get my ass out of bed to let them in. Sure enough, 12:35 my dad called “Get your butt down here so we can drop your kids off!” So on went the robe and down the stairs I went. Half awake.

Then we all went back upstairs and I layed on the bed for awhile. Claude got the girls started cleaning their room, then he went in and helped them while I put laundry away and changed the sheets on our bed. After they were “done” I went in there and finished up, then cleared a path through the playroom in order to get into Austins room to vacuum. I got downstairs at 3pm, scarfed down a couple hot dogs and headed to the store for Grannie.

Monday morning after dropping Shea off, Kalayah, Austin and I headed across town to her end of the year picnic. They planted their pumpkins in the community garden, we ate lunch and then walked to the 7th Street Sweet Shoppe for an ice cream cone. $10 and 3 cones later we walked back to the car.

After getting home I realized that I needed to go to Wal-Mart, and even though Claude had stayed home I took Kalayah and Austin with me. I picked up a few things for Grannie there too, so after picking Shea up from school we drove up to her house and hung out for an hour or so. Came home, folded clothes, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, folded more clothes.

ACK! Make it stop!

See? I’ve been busy. Hahaha! This has got to be the most boring post on the internet, but whatever.
